Come to our Detroit-themed event for U of M Students and U of M Alumni at the U of M Detroit Center on Woodward on Thursday, 3/3/16, 6 pm to 8 pm. Menu to include items from Mudgie’s, Slow’s BBQ, Better Made, Boston Coolers, Sander's, Faygo, and Vernors.

This year’s Alternative Spring Break students will give a presentation of their activities at Cass Community Social Services in Detroit. They will share pictures and give us all an update of their efforts in Detroit during their spring break.  

We will also feature author and journalist, Aaron Foley, whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, CNN, Forbes, The Detroit Free Press, Ebony, and BuzzFeed. He will talk about his popular new book, “How to Live in Detroit Without Being a Jackass,” which is a great guidebook for newcomers and Detroit natives alike. Cost for the event is $20.00 for AAUM members and $25.00 for non-AAUM members.
