The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit will hold our next Monthly meeting at Andiamo - 6676 Telegraph Road Bloomfield Township on Tuesday December 15th at 12:30pm. Please note the start time is a half hour later than our usual time. Please join us to mingle and network with fellow Wolverines from all across the Metro Detroit area. We will announce our upcoming social, community service and business networking events. We are excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Women’s Softball Coach, Carol “Hutch” Hutchins.
Coach Hutch is in her 32nd season at the helm of the University of Michigan softball program. A 2006 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee, Hutchins has guided the Wolverines to an NCAA title and 18 Big Ten Conference titles and solidified Michigan among the top softball programs in the country. Entering the 2016 season with 1,432 career wins, Hutchins is the second-winningest coach in NCAA softball history and ranks first in career wins among active coaches. Hutchins is also the winningest coach -- male or female -- in Michigan Athletics history.
