We are excited to invite you to join the U of M Club of Greater Detroit as we host a special “Welcome Home” dinner to honor Michigan's Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics, Warde Manuel. As a former UM student-athlete and having previously served the UM Athletic Department in a number of roles, Manuel has become just the 12th athletic director in 150 years of intercollegiate athletics at the university. Please join us to introduce Warde Manuel to his extended Maize & Blue family from Greater Detroit.
This dinner will be held Monday May 23rd at 6:00pm at Laurel Manor – located at 39000 Schoolcraft Road Livonia, MI 48150. Cost of the event is $25.00 in advance. Cost day of event is $35.00 .Dress is casual. We expect a large crowd to welcome Warde so please RSVP as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. Deadline to register in advance is Thursday May 19th.
