Michigan's season-opener against Utah on Thursday, September 3rd will be televised by Fox Sports 1 (find your local channel). In the weeks leading up to the game, Fox is taking a cross-country road trip in a Harbaugh-themed bus (complete with khaki fabric) from Ann Arbor to Salt Lake City to promote the game and the start of college football season. Five U-M students, a college football blogger, and Cleatus the Robot will be riding from city to city as the bus stops at MLB games, Fox local stations, and iconic roadside attractions.
This Saturday, August 22nd, the Fox bus will be in Detroit and Ann Arbor:
- 8:00am-9:00am (Detroit): Appearance on FOX 2 morning show (Address: FOX 2 Studios--16550 W. Nine Mile Road)
- 10:30-12:30pm (Ann Arbor): Launch event at the M-Den on campus with the bus, students and Cleatus the Robot (Address: M Den on Main Street—315 S. Main St.)
- 4:30pm- 7:30pm (Detroit): Detroit Tigers/Texas Rangers game (Bus will be parked outside Comerica Park in Columbia Plaza)
If you're in the area, feel free to stop by and engage with the touring students (and maybe get some TV face time while you're there). If you have any questions, please contact Brooke Faw at brooke@bespokesportsmarketing.com.
